Summary: Constructive criticism can be hard to take. But you should expect it to be when seeking advice or help from a peer or mentor. It can also be hard to give. It’s almost impossible to get through to someone who isn’t open to, or actively seeking, advice or help. They might listen, but they don’t necessarily have to respect you or your message.
