Summary: It's Canada Day and the kickoff of the NHL free agency period. For those suffering Mets fans it's also Bobby Bonilla day so throw a cold one back for the big boy. While we're at it, we might as well point out it's a double dagger for Islander fans as not only do they lose Tavares to Toronto but it's also Rick DiPietro day for them... I don't think there's a whole lot of celebrating out on the Island today for them. But hey, you're 3 years removed from Alexei Yashin day right? Positives folks...positives.
