This episode analyzes a day in the life on an APE teacher by sharing tips to set up your classroom for inclusion of all students, focusing on curriculum planning/scope and sequence with regard to APE students and how general physical education activities can be adapted to include students with disabilities. Panelists include: *Tim Swensen Received B.S. in Physical Education from UW-Platteville. M.S. from UW-LaCrosse. Taught APE in Black River Falls for 8 years. Currently in my 8th my year at UW-Platteville as Senior Lecturer in Adapted Physical Education. Certified Adapted Physical Education Instructor through APENS. WHPE Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year (2016). *Meredith Morton – Mrs. Morton recently started her 12th year teaching K-12 APE, and is the 2015 Virginia and Southern District Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year.
