EP 27 - The Daegu Subway Fire

Crime in Color show

Summary: Thank you for all of your kind words, your patience, and for allowing me time to heal. Healing is such a process and it takes time. I needed that time. I am not perfect, but I am so much better than where I was a few months ago, so again thank you for being amazing, understanding, thoughtful, and just…I don’t even have words to describe how appreciative I am. In this week’s episode, I talk about the Daegu Subway Fire that occured in the Jungangno Station of the Daegu Metropolitan Subway in Daegu, South Korea on February 18, 2003. This horrible mass murder left 198 passengers dead, and after public outrage, the officials of the Daegu Metropolitan Subway company took steps to update the infrastructure of their train stations.
