Summary: Welcome to episode 15 of VegasTMI- the official city of Las Vegas podcast. In this episode we talk about our developing Courtyard Homeless Resource Center. The Courtyard, located at 1401 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is a starting point where homeless individuals can go to access resources all in one place within the Corridor of Hope. The initial phase of the Courtyard opened last year and now the city is moving forward to expand the property. City of Las Vegas Communications Director David Riggleman sits down with Kathi Thomas-Gibson Community Resources Manager for the city of Las Vegas, Shalimar T. Cabrera, executive director of U.S.VETS - Las Vegas and Juan Salinas, Director of Social Services for the Salvation Army of Southern Nevada. Shane Savanapridi visits the Courtyard ground breaking to hear the stories of some of the volunteers who work there.
