Summary: People often get gym memberships because they have the best of intentions: they want to develop a physical fitness routine and get into healthy physical shape. All too often, however, those intentions don't become habits, and they fall by the wayside. In the same way, we often treat the church like the gym: we get the "membership" and attend sometimes, but we don't really use it to its fullest intended purpose. When we become actively committed and engaged in our local church, we develop healthy spiritual fitness habits. Not only that, we can become "trainers" ourselves, and help equip others in their spiritual fitness journey!
