Summary: Also on iTunes The field of Architecture has seen a few innovations since pen met paper.  When drawing by hand went to computer drafting it changed how a project should be managed, the time table for staffing a project and especially the workflow process.  It also brought new possibilities to the Architect in many ways.  The most recent innovation is what is most commonly referred to as, "BIM" or Building Information Modeling.  Although it has actually been around for a long while, it has not been as widely accepted by the architectural profession until recently. Revit, being on the front line of BIM has caught the attention of the Architect but is also causing a new wave of changes in the way things have been done.  Today we are going to discuss some of those changes and how to further address them for the betterment of the architectural profession.
