Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 8, Episode 98 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Tuesday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd and we get right to talking about a few things that Dave-Te Thomas had to say about a few draft prospects during his Friday appearance on the show. Former Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison announced his retirement on Monday so Alex and I discuss that decision, a possible future relationship with the Steelers, and if he’ll ultimately be a serious candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After watching quite a bit of tape on edge-rushers Sam Hubbard and Uchenna Nwosu the last few days, I get Alex to discuss the two players with me and if the Steelers should have interest in either of them. We discuss if the Steelers will draft another edge-rusher this year and if they should pick up the fifth-year option on outside linebacker Bud Dupree. We go over the seemingly legitimate first-round selection options for the Steelers with nearly one week remaining before this year’s draft. We also talk about the recent Hot 150 that longtime NFL draft analyst Gil Brandt released on Monday. We close this show out by recapping a few of the Steelers most-recent pre-draft visitors as well as Alex’s most-recent mock draft. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
