Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 8, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Tuesday show, David Todd and I get right to previewing the 2018 NFL Draft one last time before it officially gets underway on Thursday night and that includes us talking about how much the quarterback position will likely dominate the first-round. David and I discuss a few major media mock drafts that have included the Pittsburgh Steelers selecting a cornerback in the first-round and why we struggle with those. We also rank the least-likeliest positional needs the Steelers have entering this year’s draft. Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert and head coach Mike Tomlin held their annual pre-draft press conference on Monday, so David and I go over the main talking points from that. We discuss new safety Morgan Burnett possibly starting the offseason off at the free safety position and the team deciding to pick up the fifth-year option on outside linebacker Bud Dupree. David and I go over my final mock draft of 2018 and discuss a few of the first-round options that seem to be in play. David lays down his bet as to who he thinks the Steelers will take in the first-round and we close things out with a tribute to former Steelers tight end Bennie Cunningham, who passed away on Monday. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
