Terrible Podcast - Episode 1016

Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 8, Episode 104 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Tuesday show, David Todd and I get things started by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers decision to release safety J.J. Wilcox on Monday. We move on to talk quite a bit about the Steelers day-three selections of the 2018 NFL Draft with most of that discussion centered around running back Jaylen Samuels. We discuss his chances of masking the Steelers 53-man roster before moving on to talk about a few priority undrafted free agents the Steelers signed in wide receiver Quadree Henderson and inside linebacker Matthew Thomas. The Steelers 2018 defense is sure to look a lot different from a personnel aspect and David and I go over which players might have their snap counts impacted the most. Which quarterback will ultimately backup Ben Roethlisberger in 2018? David delivers a long rant on why he feels it will be Landry Jones and not third-round draft pick Mason Rudolph barring injury. Will Roethlisberger receive another contract extension from the Steelers before his career in Pittsburgh finally comes to an end? David and I close out this show with a discussion about that topic. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
