Alyssa and Keith are a team.  While most of the books you'll find are authored by Alyssa, Keith has a vital role in everything they publish. He suggests, inspires, edits and critiques.  As 2018 progresses, you'll begin to find his own original works as well. Alyssa writes a lot from a perspective of her family history, her own experiences and her dreams for adventure.  Keith pushes Alyssa to explore ideas outside of her comfort zone, and to set goals bigger than she alone would dare. Having grown up listening to family stories from her grandfather and great-grandfather, Alyssa recently felt inspired to write her own stories based on family and hometown history. There is so much to love about the large, farming families found in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee; she is proud to have such a rich heritage, and happy to be able to share it with her readers. Now that Alyssa lives in Florida, the state's rich history beckons her to write about the fascinating people that have impacted the region. The Michael Tallen novel series will focus on Florida history through fictional storytelling. Her latest endeavor is a cozy mystery series beginning with Coffee, Kids, and a Kidnapping. Charlotte, the lead character of these stories, is a lot like Alyssa in that she's stubborn, nosy and full of sarcasm!
