The upcoming gangster movie is based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses, the story of hitman Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran. Scorsese set the film in two time periods and will digitally de-age stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci. Scorsese shared the news on Instagram. In a new interview with EW, Andy Serkis revealed that there was actually a lot of discussion about Snoke and his backstory, leading up to The last Jedi, and some of that story could be used in the future. According to a report from Deadline, Fox has just made a deal for the rights to Epoch Index, a short story/novella by Christian Cantrell that has Rampage's Brad Peyton attached to direct, with Matt Reeves on board as a producer. The logline reads: A CIA analyst is tasked with tracking down a flashy assassin whose targets are seemingly random. According to a recent report from Omega Underground, Top Gun 2, currently known as Top Gun: Maverick, is set to begin filming this summer. Reports had mentioned that Tom Cruise was up as one of the male leads in Quentin Tarantino's Manson movie but that deal never solidified as Cruise will be busy with Top Gun 2.
