The new movie sees Nightwatch, AKA Dr. Trench, discover his own corpse wearing a futuristic suit of armor that he went on to steal and wear while fighting crime. 'Luke Cage' showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker will pen the script, with Lee's involvement very early in the process so no deal has ben made. Deadline reports that Netflix has acquired Wendell and Wild, a stop-motion animated picture that will re-unite Oscar winner Jordan Peele with his regular collaborator Keegan-Michael Key, in a stop motion animated film directed by The Nightmare Before Christmas' Henry Selick. SWITCH THE SCRIPT Deadline reports that Amazon Studios is in early talks with Sideways and Downsizing director Alexander Payne to helm The Burial; a drama based on the true legal exploits of Willie Gary, a successful personal-injury lawyer from Mississippi. The movie will center on the case of Jeremiah O'Keefe, the owner of a local chain of funeral homes who claimed he had been swindled by a major funeral conglomerate. Back in January, rumors swirled that director Rob Zombie was making a sequel to Devil's Rejects. That rumor proved true when Zombie took to his Instagram yesterday to confirm the news himself and not only is a Devil's Rejects sequel happening, it's already in production.
