It is also the first film since Avatar to top the chart for five consecutive weekends. It finished Sunday with a domestic total of $605.4 million and $1.182 billion globally. According to Deadline, it only took six hours for the upcoming Infinity War to achieve the best-selling first day ticket sales. It's already beaten out Batman v. Superman, Justice League, and the previous record-holder, Black Panther. Universal Pictures announced Friday that they've set a June 12, 2020 release date for the action-thriller Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson. The project that will reunite Johnson with his Central Intelligence and Skyscraper director Rawson Marshall Thurber, was the subject of a high profile bidding war between major studios that included Warner Bros., Paramount, Sony and even Netflix. THR report that Shia LaBeouf is gearing up to play his own father in Honey Boy, a quasi-biopic centered on LaBeouf's relationship with his former clown and heroin-addict father, beginning around the time the young actor was on Disney's Even Stevens. The first trailer has been released for Fox Searchlight's Can You Ever Forgive Me?. The comedy-drama centers on the infamous literary scam by famed writer Lee Israel, played by Melissa McCarthy, who forged the words of dead celebrities on small notes and memos to raise money.
