Two new Avengers Infinity War tv spots dropped over the weekend, with the first featuring Spider-Man's next step to becoming an Avenger, and the second featuring another look at the upcoming movie, that Disney and Marvel moved back one week to debut worldwide on April 27th. After five weeks of leading the top five, Black Panther dropped to second place with $16.6 million, with new release Pacific Rim Uprising taking the No 1 spot with a $28 million domestic take. Pacific Rim Uprising's low domestic debut was balanced with a $122.5 million international haul that included a $65 million debut in China. According to Variety, The Big Sick helmer Michael Showalter has signed on to direct the untitled Christmas comedy starring Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer. Universal won the rights to the movie in a heated bidding war, which is centered on two women trying to get home to their families in time for Christmas Day. Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first trailer for Superfly, a reimagining of the 1972 blaxploitation action classic, Super Fly. The teaser show an update in the action to present day and moving the setting from Harlem to Atlanta. Directed by Director X, the movie arrives in theaters on June 15.
