While the press release announced the below-the-line talent and synopsis, the big reveal was that Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson will be making his return to the big screen along with Guardians of the Galaxy actors Djimon Hounsou and Lee Pace, reprising their roles as Ronan and Korath. Production is underway on Chronicle and Fantastic Four director Josh Trank's dramatic take on the life of gangster Al Capone, and star Tom Hardy has revealed a first look at himself as the notorious figure. Deadline reports that Hasbro is moving full-steam ahead with their live-action cinematic universe for Allspark Pictures, setting Ready Player One scribe Zak Penn to adapt Rom the Spaceknight. No details are available Penn's take on the material, but it will take elements from the mythology of the late 70's/early 80's toy - that was also spun off into a Marvel Comic Book line. Deadline reports that Netflix has acquired the live-action feature film rights to Carmen Sandiego and has attached Gina Rodriguez to star as the title character. The movie will be a standalone Carmen adventure that will embrace the popular '90s property however, no writer or director has been attached for the film. Tintin 2 is not dead yet. This according to Steven Spielberg, who made his animated feature film debut directing the 2011 motion-capture film The Adventures of Tintin. The film was produced by Peter Jackson, and the plan was for the two filmmakers to swap roles on the sequel.
