Thanks to a tweet from Robert Downey Jr. himself, the full cast has been revealed for his Doctor Doolittle re-imagining, entitled: The Voyage of Doctor Doolittle. Rami Malek, Octavia Spencer, Kumail Nanjiani, Craig Robinson, John Cena, Marion Cotillard, Carmen Ejogo, and Frances de la Tour will all voice animal character in the Universal film. Deadline reports that Paramount has landed the spec Intruders, a script by James V. Simpson that is being described as an alien home invasion thriller. The concept has Paramount hoping for a new franchise, saying the project is inspired by Close Encounters of the Third Kind and the "Kelly-Hopkinsville encounter," in which a Kentucky family claimed to have survived an all-night alien home-invasion. Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for The House with The Clock in Its Walls, the new gothic thriller from Eli Roth and Amblin Entertainment. The story is about a ten-year-old who goes to live with his uncle in "a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart" and finds himself in a world of magic when he accidentally awakens the dead. THR reports that Kevin Bacon and David Koepp are teaming up with Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions to adapt You Should Have Left, based on the novel by the same name.
