Summary: Today's episode is a bit different as I go through a piece that I wrote awhile back. The main ideas featured today consist of the notion that the simplicity of the gospel makes the Gospel difficult for some in our (American) culture. In this I touch on how easy it is to forget basic truths and that we need to remember that preaching these basics, the gospel, to ourselves is important. Furthermore I discuss my personal struggles coming from Atheism to knowing Christ, but mostly, this post is about growing in faith. Sometimes we want everything to change over night, but sometimes surrender comes in pieces as we trust God and move forward. While it is not mentioned in this episode, I hope this acts as an encouragement to build up the younger believers who are trying to figure out what all this about.
