Mr. Capra is the President of Vintage Wings, Incorporated a Pennsylvania 501C3 non profit corporation that owns the historic C-53. The airframe is believed to be one of a handful of aircraft surviving today used in Operation Torch. The historic operation opened the North Africa campaign of WWII and served as America’s test bed for fighting the “new” war. The “Baby” played a vital role in transporting leadership to the theater and abroad.
