Do a one-day local convention before trying something big.
Plan on bouncing a lot from thing to thing, or staying for an overly long time at one stop, depending on your child’s personality.
Check-in / talk with your kids: what are you planning on? What worked yesterday? Set expectations – yours AND your kids.
Plan on taking time out to rest – but that might look like doing something less “gamey” – like run around outside. Boston FIG was great for that this year – they had Boffing demonstrations outside.
Supplies! Water, snacks, first aid kit. Let the kids carry some of their own.
Health! Hand sanitizer, immune support gummies or Airborne, DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE.

Any other tips?
