Summary: The Back Row Podcast has officially launched! And we couldn't be more excited over here! We've been toying with the idea of a Podcast for at least a year, but just before Christmas, we actually started to map out what it could look like and what we would be able to offer. It took a lot of back and forth and a lot of pros and cons. Of course, we settled on an (approximately) half hour show featuring both humor and healing aspects, as that is the only cocktail we like to mix around these parts. We wanted to use this landing page this time around to thank all of you for your support, especially all of you who have been yelling at me, "You should do a podcast" for the last 3 years. Specific shout outs to Steffanie Marion, Keriann Weger, Bubba Stallcup, & Derek Jordan, the generous donors who helped us buy a professional-sounding microphone, which was the one piece of the puzzle that was missing. Also, big thank you to Kevin Reddoch. He created most of the theme and bumper music we use on our show. Segment 3: Back Chat - We discuss humor and it's role in our faith lives, how it's important to not take ourselves too seriously, and how laughter is often a gift from God.
