Erik DeArkland - All Over The Map

Summary: In this week's episode, we feature Erik DeArkland. Erik is the Principal of Empire Captial, LLC - a vertically integrated real estate company focused on acquiring, re-positioning, developing and operating multi-family and office properties in Southern California. Erik has been in the real estate business for 10 years now and has basically done it all from flipping houses to commercial properties.  During the talk, Ryan and Erik sat down to discuss his journey into real estate - from how he started to be involved in the family's real estate business to where he is now.  You will also learn the challenges they've been to because of constantly changing market conditions in real estate especially in 2012 when hedge funds were building huge portfolios of single family rentals.
