Mark Levin Podcast show

Summary: We are now hearing stories that because of Hurricane Harvey we can’t fight the debt ceiling or government spending and borrowing. The left uses every excuse to expand government. The irony is that they believe that government managed by some “masterminds” is necessary because humans cant care for themselves; yet somehow they are so perfect they can decide how we can care for ourselves. No matter what happens the scenario is always the same - more government and less liberty. No amount of government meddling or control can prevent natural disasters like Hurricane Harvey, but it can certainly create man-made disasters and hell like in Venezuela. If our federal government spending isn’t reigned in, it will soon become uncontrollable and quickly become a disaster on an even larger scale than the natural ones witnessed. Also, what do Aristotle, Archimedes, Galileo, Tesla, Faraday, Newton, Einstein and Edison have in common? Not one of them wrote about manmade climate change. Why is that? Because climate change is not about science, evidence, knowledge or facts. It’s about an ideology, which was imported into America from Europe. Later, is the media still talking about Melania Trump’s shoes? No matter what Michelle Obama wore, no matter how much she spent, they would say she looked marvelous. Finally, President Trump gave an excellent speech on tax reform but he shouldn’t play Marxist-lite talking about the wealthy, it doesn’t help us. He needs to make a principled case for wealth creation. He reminded the audience of Reagan’s tax cut and how beneficial it was to the U.S economy.
