''That's What Friends Are For''

Banjo Hangout Newest 100 4-String (Tenor/Plectrum) Songs show

Summary: Friends, I don't usually discuss personal issues on the Hangout, but I've got to make an exception in this case. Banjo Hang Out member Trevor Fielder, sadly and suddenly passed away on the 5th of December last year. He was my best mate, and will always remain so. My computer know how is hopeless, so thankfully, Trev posted all my videos and Mp3's, from day one, for me, here on the Hangout. Trev was one of the toughest blokes I've ever met, as strong as a mallee bull, but behind his huge frame, stood the most compassionate, caring, gentle giant of a man imaginable!. R.I.P. Trevor. Hopefully all of you out there, have similar dear friends in your lives, past and present ... so I'd like to dedicate this song, to simply ''Friendship.'' As Burt Bacharach wrote it, and Carole Bayer Sager put it .... ''IN GOOD TIMES, IN BAD TIMES, I"LL BE ON YOUR SIDE FOREVER MORE, THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR." that's for sure. Key F, tuning CGBD. Thanks for your interest, ... Don.
