His CV includes writing Curious George fan-fiction at the age of eight, improv theater at age ten, playing trumpet at age twelve, as well as a theater degree, creating magazine cover art, writing audio scripts, designing websites, creating board games, hosting mythological roundtables and generally savoring the sweet nectar of expression in all its forms. He is the director of Wonderthing Studios, Editor-in-Chief at Vex Mosaic, and the creator of the ARCHIVOS Story Development Platform.
About ARCHIVOS: ARCHIVOS is story mapping and presentation application developed by Wonderthing Studios, designed to support storytellers in the creation and promotion of their story worlds. ARCHIVOS has been in development for over a decade, built upon the idea of a visual representation of the network of interaction between story elements. It’s creator, David Robison, conceived a framework of documentation and relationship that would articulate the dynamics of a story setting more effectively than any wiki or blog. The application serves as both a development tool for narratives as well as a presentation framework for sharing those narratives.
This week’s picks:

* Dave: Doodle.com
* John: Perennial Seller: The Art of Making and Marketing Work that Lasts by Ryan Holiday
* Patrick: Cyfe.com Business Dashboards

Links:

* Dave Robison on Twitter
* John Anealio on Twitter
* Patrick Hester on Twitter
* The Functional Nerds Patreon Page
* Patrick’s New Book: Into the Fire (available everywhere)

© 2017 Patrick Hester and John Anealio
This podcast contains original music by John Anealio.
