Jesus Among the Angels and Beasts

Bishop Robert Barron’s Sermons - Catholic Preaching and Homilies show

Summary: Lent begins with a passage about Noah and flood. It's representative of not only sin, but of God's good grace. It's also a fitting entree into Jesus' journey into the desert, also symbolic of sin, and how his presence there infuses a forgotten, desolate place with life and goodness. When we are racked with sin, it is Christ who can infuse us with life and goodness.
