The convention used to have a very robust presence from regional gaming groups. There were at least three groups other than the Maine Historical Wargamers that attended. There was even a trophy that went to the gaming group that had the best participation. But this year the gaming groups seem to have all but evaporated. I only saw one person wearing a Northern Conspiracy shirt and not a single shirt from a Boston area gaming group. When the gaming groups had a much greater presence, the level of camaraderie was much higher – both within groups and between groups.
