#86 – March Madness WYR, Geoff’s Tired of Tebow, How to Pick

That One Sports Show show

Summary:
Would You Rather

Be a guy known for a foul that allowed someone to win the game, or be the guy who lost because he missed those same free throws.

Toss Up

Who’s the first 1 or 2 seed to lose in March Madness?

John goes with Duke losing in the second round and Geoff says Gonzaga, who John has winning the whole darn thing.

Other Bits

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer played each other outside of the finals for the first time since 2004 as they were seeded 6th and 10th at Indian Wells. We also have confirmation it’s Kyrgios like keer-ee-aus or keer-y-oss.

The Columbus Crew have their first loss of the season against the Houston Dynamo, losing 3-1. The Crew are now 0-1-1 and take on D.C. United this Saturday.

There was a double-knockout in an MMA match earlier this week. Pretty crazy stuff.

The Columbus Blue Jackets now have the most wins in franchise history and are only a few games away from grabbing the President’s cup. Sergei Bobrovsky still holds the most wins as a Blue Jackets goalie with 37. The Blue Jackets play the NY Islanders this Saturday.

Kevin Love is starting to practice again, so that’s good news for the Cavs.

Michael Brantley is making his way back for the Indians, producing runs in the minor league of Spring Training. The Indians are hoping to have him toward the beginning of the regular season.

You can check out my guest post on the non-basketball way to make your March Madness picks, which includes Well-informed Toast, Mascot Deathmatch and hex value.
