Two Jewish schools in Melbourne, Bialik College and Mt Scopus College, explained how a teacher working first at Bialik and since 2015 at Mt Scopus, was discovered making child pornography using photos of students at Bialik, and how they dealt with this unpleasant issue, prior to and after the arrest of the teacher by the police. The Victorian Government renewed its partnership with the Rabbinical Council of Victoria and granted them further funds for their work of building relationships between the Jewish and other religious communities in that state.
