Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 6, Episode 72 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this show, David Todd and I get right to recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers Wild Card game win over the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday night after first going over the injuries suffered in the contest. Will quarterback Ben Roethlisberger play Sunday against the Denver Broncos? We both think he will. The Saturday night game included several questionable penalties so we go over all of them and whether or not each were justified. We move on to talk about the play of the Steelers offense against the Bengals and that includes us focusing in on the Roethlisberger as well as running backs Fitzgerald Toussaint and Jordan Todman. We also discuss the contributions made by wide receiver Martavis Bryant in the game. When we move over to talking about the Steelers defense, David and I discuss the play of several individual players on that side of the football that impacted the game and that includes us discussing linebackers Ryan Shazier, Jarvis Jones and Bud Dupree. We also discuss the play of the secondary and try to decipher what happened on the late touchdown pass to Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green. We wrap up the show up with some final thoughts about the game and especially on what happened in the final two minutes. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
