Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 6, Episode 121 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora sits in for David Todd once again and we kick things off by talking about the recent developments concerning Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison and the NFL as it relates to them wanting to interview him as part of their continued investigation into alleged PED usage. Harrison announced Sunday night on social media that he is indeed willing to talk to the league but only if they meet his guidelines that include commissioner Roger Goodell being present for the talks that he wants to take place at his house and prior to the start of training camp. Is he right to have such demands and more importantly, should he meet with the league even though they’ve yet to provide any evidence to back up the allegations? We discuss it. Being as the Steelers released kicker Shaun Suisham on Friday, Alex and I discuss the Steelers current salary cap status and how an injury benefit claim could factor into all of this in the near future. Alex recently conducted interviews with Steelers wide receiver Issac Blakeney and tackle Brian Mihalik so we cover the main things both of those young players had to say. That leads to us talking about NFL practice squad sizes and whether or not another developmental league is needed. With the start of Steelers training camp drawing closer, Alex and I continue looking in-depth at the various position groups and today we focus on breaking down the inside linebackers currently on the team’s 90-man roster. We go player by player and discuss who we think ultimately makes the final roster. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
