Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 7, Episode 30 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Wednesday show, David Todd and I start things off by discussing the latest injury update on Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger that states he might miss more than three weeks following surgery on Monday to repair the meniscus in his left knee. In addition to discussing Roethlisberger, we talk about the rest of the Steelers injury report heading into Wednesday’s practice and who we think might be ready to play Sunday against the New England Patriots. Tight end Ladarius Green is now eligible to start practicing this week so we have a few thoughts on his status and whether or not we think he’ll play against the Patriots. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin gave us quite a few things to talk about during his Tuesday press conference so we make sure to hit on those talking points of which most center around the play of the team this Sunday in the loss to the Miami Dolphins. Landry Jones is now set to make his third career start on Sunday so David and I discuss his past passing efforts along with what he needs to do on Sunday in order to give the Steelers a chance at beating the Patriots. In the second half of this Wednesday show, David and I are joined by Ben Volin, who covers the Patriots for The Boston Globe. As usual, we ask our guest all about the Steelers upcoming opponent as it relates to both sides of the football as part of our weekly game preview. If you are not already doing so, please follow Ben on Twitter at @BenVolin and make sure to read his work online right here leading up to Sunday’s game. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
