Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 7, Episode 31 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I start things off by discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday injury report ahead of Sunday’s home game against the New England Patriots. We also revisit the situation with tight end Ladarius Green, who didn’t begin practice this week. We also go over the current status of wide receiver Sammie Coates and how much playing time he might see against the Patriots. We move on to thoroughly break down the Steelers upcoming game against the Patriots and we start on the defensive side of the football as it relates to how they must play Sunday in order for the team to come out victorious. In that discussion, we discuss what the stats of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady look like on average in the 51 regular season games that he’s lost so far during his career. After talking about the defense, we move on talking about the Steelers offense. We discuss the kind of game that quarterback Landry Jones will need to play on Sunday in addition to how he should attack their defense through the air. We look back at how other lesser-name quarterbacks have managed to beat Brady as well. After previewing the upcoming game, we move on to give you our weekly picks of all of the games around the NFL in Week 7 and conclude that segment with our final score predictions for the Steelers-Patriots game like we do every Friday. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
