Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 7, Episode 40 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I start things off by talking about Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams, who reportedly underwent knee surgery this week. We discuss whether or not Williams has played his last snap for the Steelers as well as the candidates at the bottom of the 53-man roster who are at risk in order to make room for not only him while he’s down injured, but tight end Ladarius Green and linebacker Bud Dupree as well. Will Green be activated on Saturday? We give our thoughts on that possibly happening. After moving on to talk about the rest of the Steelers Thursday injury report, David and I quickly recap the Baltimore Ravens Thursday night win over the Cleveland Browns. We move on to talk extensively about the Steelers Sunday home game against the Dallas Cowboys and that starts with us discussing how good the Dallas offense has been so far this season and what the Steelers defense needs to do in order to contain them. Will rookie cornerback Artie Burns continue to see the bulk of playing time against the Cowboys even if the defense is forced to play a lot of base looks? We discuss that topic. We move on to discuss the play of the Cowboys defense so far this season and what we think the Steelers offense will need to do on Sunday in order to move the football against them. The Steelers offense has started slow in most of their games so far this season. We go over the stats and I see if David can remember the three scores that have taken place so far during the first two drives. As usual, we wrap up our Friday podcast by given you our picks against the spread for all the Week 10 games and that includes our final score predictions for the Steelers game against the Cowboys. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
