Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 7, Episode 65 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I get right to recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers decisive Wild Card win over the Miami Dolphins. We look at what the Steelers did right and wrong on both sides of the football during Sunday’s game in addition to pointing out several key induvial performances that took place. After going over who didn’t play Sunday, David and I discuss Steelers tight end Ladarius Green and his ongoing issue with his concussion. We talk about whether or not we would still sign Green knowing what we know right now. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was injured late in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins so we of course discuss the decision made by head coach Mike Tomlin to still have him in the game at point being as the game was already decided. We make sure to discuss the hit on Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore by Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree. The Steelers special teams units were miserable again on Sunday so with that, we discuss how that could be a big problem next Sunday in the Divisional Round game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter got himself into some trouble with the police well after the game was over so David and I make sure to discuss that topic. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
