Terrible Podcast - Episode 836

Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 7, Episode 69 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Wednesday show, David Todd and I get right to recapping what Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had to say Tuesday during his weekly press conference. Did Tomlin handle the situation with wide receiver Antonio Brown correctly during his talk with the media? We think so and tell you why. Additionally, we cover quite a few of the other key talking points from Tomlin’s presser and that includes us going over the health of the team ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots. The major media outlets had a lot to say about how Tomlin handled the Brown situation so we indulge them by going over a few of their views and how we think several of them missed the boat. In the second half of the show, David and I are joined once again by Ben Volin, who covers the Patriots for The Boston Globe. We get Ben’s view of the Patriots ahead of Sunday’s game per our usual Wednesday segment. David and I wrap up this episode by answering a few listener emails in addition to talking a little more about what happened in Sunday’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
