Summary: Season 7, Episode 91 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and I get right to talking about linebacker Dont’a Hightower re-signing with the New England Patriots after visiting with the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier in the week. We go over Hightower’s real contract numbers and what the New York Jets reportedly offered him until giving him a physical. Will the Steelers have any interest in free agent cornerback Darrelle Revis now that he has his legal issues behind him? David and I revisit him and his offsets with the Jets in addition to the possibility of him landing in Pittsburgh. We move on to talk a little more about the Steelers signing free agent wide receiver Justin Hunter this past week and how it looks like a nice addition. With Hunter now in the fold and Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley spending time with Penn State wide receiver Chris Godwin at his pro day on Thursday, we wonder if the team will ultimately draft another pass catcher this year. The cornerback free agent market has dwindled down to virtually nothing now as of Thursday, so David and I recap the top remaining names. We move on to discuss several other signings that have happened around the league since we last talked on Wednesday.
