Steelers Podcast - The Terrible Podcast show

Summary: Season 7, Episode 109 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Friday show, David Todd and continue talking a little more about the Pittsburgh Steelers 2017 draft class now that we’ve had some more time to study a few of their earlier selections more in-depth. We go over when we think a few of the drafted players might start contributing to the team during the 2017 season and if one of them might even be able to supplant wide receiver Antonio Brown as the team’s punt returner. We move on to discuss David’s recent interview with Tennessee defensive coordinator Bob Shoop that took place on his show. The Steelers waived quarterback Zach Mettenberger earlier in the week and that wasn’t a huge surprise all things considered. David and I talk briefly about if he’ll ever play a NFL snap again moving forward. David and I had yet to talk extensively about who the other three AFC North teams drafted over the weekend so we make sure to cover that topic during Friday’s show. We close this episode by talking about the two players the Steelers waived on Friday. As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
