Summary: <p>pgBackRest aims to be a simple, reliable backup and restore system that can seamlessly scale up to the largest databases and workloads. David Steele is Senior Architect at Crunchy Data Solutions, the PostgreSQL company for secure enterprises. He has been actively developing with PostgreSQL since 1999. David is the primary maintainer for the pgBackRest project which began to solve big data backup challenges at Resonate, an adtech firm.
