Danielle LaFata: A STT Exclusive

Summary: Danielle LaFata is a Registered Dietitian who earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in nutrition and food science from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and is a board certified specialist in sports dietetics. Danielle is the Director of Performance Nutrition for Athletes’ Performance. She leads the AP Nutrition Department in developing and implementing nutrition programming for the professional & tactical athlete, various sports teams, college and youth athletes as well as for the general population. She also works closely with the education team to develop and deliver sports nutrition education not just to the athletes, but personal trainers, strength & conditioning coaches and other health industry professionals from around the world. Providing nutrition education and programming to groups and individuals is a primary focus in her work. She is a member of the American Academy of Dietetics (AND), the Sports Cardiovascluar and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN) as well as the Collegiate Professional and Sports Dietetics Association (CPSDA) organizations.  She is also past President of the Arizona Dietetic Association-Central District.
