Summary: Our guest today is Dub Maddox. He is the Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach for powerhouse Jenks High School in Oklahoma and the Camp/Curriculum director for National Football Academies. Coach Maddox is considered to be one of the leading experts in QB training and offensive scheme tactics in the country. He is the author and co-creator of the revolutionary R4 system. The R4 book From Headset to Helmet is a foundational tool that can be used in any football program. Coach Maddox’s QBs and offenses have set numerous state and school records. In 2010 his offense set the all-time state scoring record by averaging 53.4 points per game. Four quarterbacks that he has coached at Jenks since 2006, have finished with a 70%+ completion percentage along with 20:1 TD to Int ratio. I’ve been fortunate to be able to talk ball and clinic with Dub on a regular basis. He is a great coach to share ideas with.
