Darin Slack, QB Mechanics Expert - Game Planning and Building Culture

Coach and Coordinator Podcast show

Summary: I had the pleasure of meeting Darin Slack in 2009 right before I began my first college job as a quarterback coach at Baldwin Wallace University. What I learned working that camp greatly impacted the way I coach, not just quarterback’s but every position. Darin’s attention to detail and language and terminology reflective of the best teaching practices were evident and I sythnesized it into my own coaching. I also had the honor of coaching his son Michael at BW. Let me share a little more about Darin Slack. In 1988, graduating as an All-American QB at the University of Central Florida, Coach Slack founded National Football Academies. He has pioneered a new way to serve coaches and athletes through specialized sports training using a biomechanically sound, revolutionary skills system developed over 25 years. He has trained over 40,000 coaches and athletes through NFA and other training clinics, he has positioned himself among the best teachers of QB fundamentals and leadership in the nation. Darin travels year round as a motivational speaker, skills coach, and builder of men seeking to make a difference in the lives and futures of youth throughout this country. Darin has great zeal for the game of football, but not at the expense of his wife and five children.
