Summary: The 49ers hiring of John Lynch as their new GM is certainly a curious one, which harkens back to the Lions hiring of Matt Millen (which ended in disaster). John buys Danny's theory that Mike Shanahan (not Kyle) will have serious control over player personnel. Also, the way Richard Sherman played in the Pro Bowl, may actually help the Seahawks in their punishment for not reporting his injury.
