After moving to the US in 1975, François K quickly tried his hands at DJing in the competitive world of New York City nightlife. Once this happened, his career skyrocketed, and he quickly made DJing his full-time occupation. Since that time François K has amassed a massive CV within the scene, including performances at the likes of Paradise Garage, The Loft, Better Days, Studio 54, Les Mouches, Buttermilk Bottom, AM-PM, and New Jersey's famed Zanzibar. His studio proficineny has seem hi work alongside the likes of Eurythmics, Diana Ross, U2, Kraftwerk, Mick Jagger, Ashford & Simpson, The Cure, Midnight Oil, Jimmy Cliff, Foreigner, Jean Michel Jarre, Jan Hammer, The Fatback Band, Bunny Wailer, The Smiths, Pet Shop Boys, Cabaret Voltaire, as well as mixing the entire Kraftwerk LP "Electric Island" and Depeche Mode's "Violater". As the list of accolades goes on (Wave Music, Body&Soul, Cielo's Deep Space Monday's, etc), the legend that is François K really needs no further introduction.
