Ordinarily, you would put J before L to preserve alphabetical order, but in this case the amount of work done by Lauer necessitates some sort of nod – rhetorically or otherwise. Early in their career, Philip and Gerd had been focusing largely on remix commissions rather than original production, but have since diversified their output. They've gone on releasing on renowned labels such as Creme Organization, CONSTRUCT, Freebase Records, and Mojuba. Today, the Tuff City Kids provide their unique future disco take on 'Atlas,' which comes off a very special Systematic Recordings remix package. Strictly limited to 500 vinyl-only copies, the stellar package also contains remixes from Diynamic wunderkids Adriatique, as well as Innervisions André Lodemann.
