Summary: From December 2016 to March 2017, scientific teams from all over the world will board the Russian research vessel Akademik Treshnikov for an unprecedented expedition around Antarctica. (Von Dezember 2016 bis zum März 2017 umrundet eine Gruppe von Forschern die Antarktis und besucht dabei alle vorgelagerten Inseln. Im Januar macht die Expedition auch Station in Hobart, ehe es nach Südamerika weitergeht und dann zurück nach Cape Town. )
