Summary: Despite winning major victories in recent years, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender people still face high levels of systemic violence and discrimination. This talk will examine the origins of LGBT oppression from a Marxist perspective and highlight the history of queer struggles past and present that can teach us about the ongoing fight for LGBT liberation today.
