Rest 3000 year span! Hebrews 11:3 KJV Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Matthew 8:8 KJV The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." Matthew 8:10 KJV When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, "Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." Roman authority was released by the spoken word. Genesis 17:1-4 NKJV 1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. 2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” 3 Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying: 4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations." Genesis 12:2 NKJV "I will make you a great nation..." Genesis 15:5 NKJV Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Genesis 17:5 NKJV "No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations." What is faith to us is always reality with God! Romans 10:17 NKJV So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Genesis 15:13-16 NKJV 13 Then He (God) said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. 14 And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions. 15 Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.” John 20:29 NKJV "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” When God brings about a change in this natural universe, He calls those things which be not as though they were. Romans 4:16-17 ISV 16 Therefore, the promise is based on faith, so that it may be a matter of grace and may be guaranteed for all of Abraham’s descendants—not only for those who were given the Law, but also for those who share the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. 17 As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations.” Abraham acted in faith when he stood in the presence of God, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence things that don’t yet exist. God sees the end of the parade when we are limited to one view along the route! Romans 4:18 ISV Hoping in spite of hopeless circumstances, he believed that he would become “the father of many nations,” just as he had been told: “This is how many descendants you will have.” Romans 4:19 ISV 19 His faith did not weaken when he thought about his own body (which was already as good as dead now that he was about a hundred years old) or about Sarah’s inability to have children, 20 nor did he doubt God’s promise out of a lack of faith. Instead, his faith became stronger and he gave glory to God, 21 being absolutely convinced that God would do what he had promised. 1. He did not dwell on the negatives! 2. He responded quickly to his doubts! 3. He thanked and praised God for the answer before it appeared! 4. He convinced himself that God's promise was true. He called himself Abraham and his wife Sarah!
