KnitWit 98: Need vs. Want

Summary: originally posted at 11:43 am on Sunday, December 9, 2007 There is a big difference between a need and a want. Sometimes the lines seem to be blurred. This is a particular pet peeve of mine. Needs must be met before indulging in wants. There is nothing wrong with wants. I have lots of wants. It is important to be able to recognize the differences. There are things I need to do or need to have that I don’t particularly want to do. I need to eat right. I want to eat chocolate. What have been your experiences?
