Summary: This Sunday in 2016 is more than just Mother's Day observed in the United States of America. It's also a day the world recognizes as the end of one of the bloodiest military conflicts in world history. Most of us, though, do not really recognize the date, at least not like we recognize dates at the beginning of that same world war.
